DocumentMall is the only web-based document management solution available that directly and securely integrates with Ricoh's family of MFPs via an embedded browser. With the DocumentMall browser firmware installed on the MFP, you can access DocumentMall directly from the MFP touch screen panel and securely scan paper-based documents directly into your account without a PC - faster than you can print! Scan, OCR, Encrypt and Securely upload your documents for electronic file storage directly from your MFP.
This secure two-way communication is exclusive to DocumentMall and requires the DocumentMall Web Browser firmware installed on a compatible multifunctional. The solution provides these features:
- LCD Touch Screen
Select cabinets and folders for electronic file storage or document archiving to with the convenient LCD Touch Screen, already installed!
- Automatic OCR
Performs full-text indexing and creates searchable PDFs to locate archived documents and active documents for document sharing.
- Scan to E-mail
Send multiple page documents via email for document storage in DocumentMall.
- Document Security
Your stored DocumentMall files go through a secure HTTPS transmission and are 128-bit encrypted for secure, web-based document management.
- Auto Titling
The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature allows documents to be titled by recognizing the first 25 characters for quick search and retrieval.
- File Formatting
PDF is set as the default, but you also have the option of TIFF or both PDF and TIFF for document storage and distribution via DocumentMall's digital imaging services.
- Resolution Settings
Choices include a range of 200-400 dpi
- Address Book Support
Create a company, personal or account address book for easy address input when e-mailing documents for distribution.
